CNY Event – Delivering Prosperity and Smiles to Our Local Nursing Homes

This Lunar New Year, Leedon celebrated the spirit of abundance by giving back to the pioneers of our community. Before our festive closure, our team organized a special charity drive to deliver fresh mandarin oranges and festive cheer to Nursing Homes.

A Symbol of Good Fortune

In Chinese tradition, mandarin oranges (kam) represent “gold” and “prosperity.” Our goal was simple: to ensure that every resident at the nursing home felt the warmth and “gold” of the season, even if they couldn’t be home with their families.

The Day’s Activities:

  • The “Orange Brigade”: Our staff volunteers loaded and delivered cartons of premium Lukan mandarins.

  • Personal Well-Wishes: We took the time to visit different homes personally presenting the oranges to the residents and staff, accompanied by traditional CNY greetings.

Why We Give

Community care is a core pillar of our corporate culture. As we gathered to celebrate the Year of the Horse, we wanted to honor the elderly who have contributed so much to our society.

“It’s not just about the fruit; it’s about the presence. Seeing the joy in the residents’ eyes when we visited reminded us that the best part of any festival is the connection we share with others.” — Mr Lin Yuen Thong

Thank You for Your Support

A huge thank you to all our employees who volunteered their time and transport to make this delivery possible. It was the perfect way to start our CNY break—with full hearts and a shared sense of purpose.

Wishing all our clients, partners, and the community a healthy and prosperous Year of the Horse!
